1st) Ceremony of Dedication and Intention —planting metaphorical and physical seeds towards transforming Colorado's relationship with Native Peoples, with their Worldview towards kinship with all life and transforming CO economy's base in Gas & Oil, cattle and logging towards an economy that fosters well-being for all life. PEOPLE of the SACRED LAND (2026, 32 min) follows Richard Willams (Oglala Lakota, Northern Cheyenne) as he recounts his engaging personal journey with Land and the findings of the Truth, Restoration, and Education Commission (TREC) about Colorado's treaties, including falsified ones. Editor: This issue of stolen land needs our attention, our thinking and acting together to address what was done 150 years ago to the American Indian tribal nations whose homeland was invaded by settlers seeking gold. The land currently in governmental and instituion’s hands could be given back or at minimum be co-managed with tribal nations.
